I, like many other users I've seen, have the issue where we can't overclock on the A1/B1 channels, just stuck at 2133MHz. I'm running the 3200MHz version of the TridentZ ram you have. Changing the IO-L Init value didn't work for me.

Could you explain the steps you took and what values you modified in the UEFI?

Smile Iam happy.
The solution was IO-L Init Value. Can somebody explain the IO-L Init Value?
You can find it in the OC Tweaker 4th Timings.
I changed the standard value (auto=4) to 5.
Now the modules run at 4.133mhz at specified Timings (A2 B2 socket).
I downvolted the kit to 1.35v. primestable for 1 hour now.

So the kit runs nicely on this board but i ve no clue what the IO-L Init Value does.

even 4.266mhz boot so far 1.4v

as i wrote.... both ram modules run @ 4133mhz! with the specified timings but only on A2 slot. So the Ram Module is pretty fine.

A1 3066
B1 3066
A2 4133
B2 4000

i tried each slot with both modules in all variations. So the Ram is OK. It's motherboard issue

It seems the G.Skill Kit is limited due to B2 slot. Only Slot A2 supports the XMP Profile
See following Setups:

1st Setup
I used Channel A2 B2 2 DIMM. I wasn't able to run the memory above 4000mhz with timings 17-17-17-37

If your question is why won't it run at 4133, that is not guaranteed as it is an OC that relies on mostly the Silicon Lottery to be able to do?

Hi!
I just bought the Asrock Z370K6
i use the Intel Core i5-8600K, 6x 3.60GHz, tray (CM8068403358508) cpu
and the new G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM  16GB, DDR4-4133, CL17-17-17-37 (F4-4133C17D-16GTZR)Kit

It seems the G.Skill Kit is limited due to B2 slot. Only Slot A2 supports the XMP Profile
See following Setups:

1st Setup
I used Channel A2 B2 2 DIMM. I wasn't able to run the memory above 4000mhz with timings 17-17-17-37

2nd Setup
Channel A1 B1 2 DIMM. The max. possible speed with the XMP Profile was 3066mhz

3rd Setup
Single Channel A1 1 Dimm and I also reached max 3066mhz

4th  Setup
Single Channel B1 1 Dimm with the same result 3066mhz

5th Setup
Single Channel A2 1 Dimm and finally i reached the 4133mhz with 17-17-17-37 (PrimeStable)

6th Setup
Single Channel B2 1 Dimm max possible speed 4000mhz

So my Kit is limited due to B2 slot. Can you tell me a solution? Are there maybe bios settings i can do to increase the B2 Performance?

I really like this board and the features and i really dont want to exchange it.
