Hello
I got the samsung sm961 NVMe as I wanted a faster boot than an SSD sata3 or 6gb/s could give, on my asrock q170 vpro. Installing it put me through hell. Dispute the M2 socket being ultra and supporting pcie 3x4, it started by using sata interface so knocked my other drives out. It wouldn't show on the bios uefi - storage config. The m2 socket remains 'undetected'

After renewing the uefi i got my other sata 0 and 1 back so could see my other drives, however during the install of windows 10 it wiped my other drives  so i lost data. With new UEFI I can see my other drives so know its not using the sata lanes but it still isnt showing in storage configuration. But it still doesnt boot as fast as my dell optiplex, which also runs of a q170, which has the PM951. But has half the RAM and an i5. My as rock has an i7.

Is it configured correctly as it not registering in uefi although it working as a boot drive. I am a bit disappointed, the fastest drive in the world isnt that fsast
