running CPU at 4Ghz/1.375V and RAM at 3133Mhz/1.05V SOC, I cant pass more than 15mins of AIDA64 stress testing

bumping SOC voltage to 1.1V makes my system stable again so I would say its my sweet spot OC for now.

Did spend some time lats night to see if a NVIDIA GPU would work in current BIOS conditions. It did, installed drivers, ran some benchmark, could do gaming either via the 2400g igpu or the NVIDIA card (disabling one or the other in device Manager)
so it was all good, but this morning I tried to fire up my PC, post the BIOS seemed to load Windows but black screen without keyboard input working

thats so weird, I didnt do anything to the BIOS or touch any windows settings between my last run i n the night and this morning.

guess I will have to spend my evening to troubleshoot again.

That is strange, can you try to increase memory voltage up to 1.35 or 1.4V and see if it still dose weird stuff upon a cold boot?
Up to 1.4V is ok on Ryzen and DDR4, I wont suggest higher however.
If it still does, can you please disable CSM if its enabled when testing all of this and if its disabled please enable it?

Cheers

now I am embarrased.I unplug monitors from the MB and ran from the GPU only and it booted into windows where I found out I had left the iGPU disabled in device Manager from my previous testing.....I feel like a noob here.

I am happy I can run both GPUs at the same time, the GPU will be used for my triple monitor gaming sessions and the iGPU for just the center one gamming time with Freesync enabled when I dont want to fire up my Rig full power

might not be what most 2200g/2400g have bought their APU for but that gives me some versatility and reduced power usage whenever I want to do some more minimalist gaming

now if I could get this RAM to work at 3200Mhz....

made up my mind yesterday, the 2400G is going back and I am putting the 1500X back in my rig

i could have lived with some of the issues I experienced but was also hoping ASROCK would pull up a proper BIOS by now but looking at the complains on this forum, doesnt seem to be the case at least for me as a B350 PRO4 user

1st experience with an ASROCK motherboard, granted a cheap one but I can not tell I am satisfied with the way Ryzen CPU/APUs implementation have been supported.

end of rant, lets go back to OCing the 1500X and get most of the chip
