My Western Digital 3TB USB 3.0 External hard drive looses recognition (sometimes, not always) in Windows 10 when coming out of sleep mode. When this happens I have to power off and power back on the external hard drive for Windows 10 to recognize it again in the system.

Now, I want to know the most likely truth regarding this matter. I'm running my Patriot Vipers @ 2800MHz versus the 2133MHz default that this motherboard runs them at if I leave XMP set to auto in the BIOS. This could be causing corruption over several days.

But I think it's just a bug in the BIOS because I haven't detected any data corruption issues on the hard drive so far.

Does anybody else have this issue?

System: AMD 2200G, ASRock AB350M Pro4, 16GB(2x8GB) 3000MHz Patriot Vipers (running @ 2134MHz *crying*).
