I bought a AB350 Pro4 and grabbed the RGB Vengeance Pro kit before doing any research. It was on sale and had to grab it immediately lol.

I've been staring at a rainbow lightshow for the past month. The kit also only ran at 2866 rather than the rated 3000.

Now with the latest BIOS update with the current AMD AGESA, ram runs at 3000 and is recognized by iCUE. Good stuff!

First of all, thanks a lot for you answer :)

So, this basically means, all B450 mobos got this compatibility issue?

I just thought of changing the mobo, currently I have Asrock b450 gaming k4 as mentioned and I thought of buying MSI B450 Tomahawk as Corsair states on their website their ram is MSI software compatible.

Thanks in advance.

David.

Good evening,

I just bought an asrock b450 gaming k4 and a couple of memory sticks from Corsair, concretely the vengeance rgb 2x8gb with the reference CMR16GX4M2C3000C15.

The issue regarding to this is that it's impossible to control the rgb on this mobo.
The Corsair Link software shows that SPD write is blocked and there is no way to find out how to enable it.

Testing this pair of ram on other systems and working just fine.

Is there any solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

David.
