          | I've spent at least 3 days attempting to make on onboard 10Gb Aquantia QC107 work on my ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate ** It works both for Fedora 33 and Ubuntu
** Does not work under Windows 10 or 8.

Have tried the driver on ASRock Website and every driver I could find on the internet.
Have attempted to modify .inf files with no success.
Attempted virgin fresh installs of Windows 10 and 8 with no success.
Have tried every BIOS from 3.3 to 4.2

Have run out of ideas and was hoping someone can point out the most likely foolish mistake I£™ve made. And hopefully, ASRock tech support will provide some guidance.

          | Hi Naenyc, Thank you for the posting.

For this case, we would like to provide some suggestions for you to verify.
 1. Clear CMOS by pressing the CLR CMOS button after removing the power.
 2. Keep BIOS setting default and only install the CPU, PSU, Cooler, RAM, System disk, Graphics card to test.
 3. Reinstall a clean Win 10 20H2 OS and driver to verify.
 4. Re-flash the BIOS P4.20 to try.

 Thank you,

 Best wishes,
 ASRock TSD

          | Thanks, ASRock TSD.
I've attempted to clear CMOS by pressing on both the rear and MB buttons in addition to pulling the battery for 1/2 hour.

What is interesting, none of the presets disappear as in past MBs. Maybe something is cached in the system resource table.

I've attempted fresh installs of both virgin and latest windows to no avail

This is perplexing as an unknown device shows up but refuses to accept the driver.

Could the driver on the website be different than the DVD, which I no longer possess£

Is it possible to send/post a video£ Really don't want to RMA this as the next board may have the same issue.

 Thanks
