I'm writing to ask about recognizing PCIe 16x slot.

I have the Z97 Extreme4, but cannot recognizing PCIE3(
I cannot see the "Other devices" node in my "Device Manager"

But it can recognize in Z97 Extreme4 and H87 Pro4/MVP.

I wonder why there cannot recognize it only in Z97(All system Win7-64bit).
i'm sorry about my bad english.

From the User Manual, pg19

PCIe slots:
PCIE1 (PCIe 2.0 x1 slot) is used for PCI Express x1 lane width cards.
PCIE2 (PCIe 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x16 lane width graphics cards.
PCIE3 (PCIe 2.0 x1 slot) is used for PCI Express x1 lane width cards.
PCIE4 (PCIe 2.0 x1 slot) is used for PCI Express x1 lane width cards.
PCIE5 (PCIe 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x8 lane width graphics cards.
PCIE6 (PCIe 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x4 lane width graphics cards.

What CPU is installed? Maybe ran out of lanes?

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.

Look at what you wrote:

You said it cannot recognize the PCIE5 slot in the Z97 Extreme4, but then you said it does recognize it in the next sentence.

Did you put a video card or another kind of card in the PCIE5 slot? Do you have a video card in the PCIE2 slot?

ASRock has a H87 Pro4 board, but nothing called the H87 Pro4/MVP.

Do you have three ASRock boards?

I'm sorry that miss writing number of product(not Z97 but Z87
The Z97 Extreme4 works well, but did not work in Z87 Extreme4 and H87 Pro4/MVP

Could you check it plesae?
