Hi,
I have an ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming X with an NVIDIA RTX 5080.
Occasionally, during GPU-intensive games or benchmarks, the display suddenly goes black and the GPU fans go to 100%. The system then needs to be powered off manually.
Temperatures are normal (GPU around 65£6 °C under load), and the issue is intermittent: sometimes the same benchmarks complete successfully.
HWiNFO has also shown increases in PCIe Bus Error Count / PCIe Recovery Count during some 3D workloads.
I noticed that ASRock has released BIOS updates for some Z390 boards mentioning improved RTX 50 Series compatibility.
Is there an updated or beta BIOS available for the Z390 Phantom Gaming X specifically to improve compatibility with RTX 50 Series GPUs£
Thank you.

Sadly no, there are no currently available beta BIOSes to improve RTX 50 support
for your board.

It may be worth opening a support ticket with ASRock to inquire if they can help:
