All of the 2.10 windows downloads for the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac are being tagged for malware/virus by windows defender. The instant flash looks clean. Word of warning!

Thanks for the information. That might be a false warning from Windows Defender, but it could also be correct. I just downloaded the UEFI version 2.10 Windows update method file for the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac from the China and USA links, and USA server. I scanned the files in both the .zip and extracted formats with Windows Defender, and nothing was found. What ASRock server are you using? That is a setting in the UEFI/BIOS. You said all the download links for this file had the same result, right? |

it appears better now, on same defender definitions level. I would guess it's been fixed quietly.
