Hi. I'm new to the forum and want to post a topic about "Hardware Security Checks" falling short on my Ubuntu OS. Seems that there's a long list of adjustments I need to make likely in the bios, but don't know where to start. Trouble is that for, whatever reason the forums won't let me post a topic. Can you point me in the right direction?

You will need to list your system specs, at the very least your motherboard.
I suspect most of the settings you will need will fall under advanced settings. You can start by looking for the acronyms "IMEMM" for example. Beyond that I couldn't really say, my boards are all 5+ years old and have a different BIOS layout to newer boards. There may be others on the forums that are better informed regarding security settings. |
