Hi,
I got problems starting with XMP Profile. The BIOS does not recognize my RAM in XMP Profile. My System Ryzen 5 3600X Asrock X570M Pro 4 (BIOS ver. 1.80) Corsair Vengeance LPX 16Gb DDR4 3600MHz CMK16GXM2D3600C18 (only loading 2133MHz) Geforce GTS 450 Samsung 860 EVO 512 Gb I did place the DIMMs in DDR4_A2 and DDR4_B2. My System does not start and sets back the BIOS-Configuration to default. I hope an engineer at ASRock sees my problem and can respond. Thank you, Felix |

Sadly I can confirm the same. Just installed 1.80 BIOS, but has not made any difference.
Got CMW16GX4M2C3600C18W in my case. Don't know if you missed the 4 as I cant find your code online. W is just that it's the white version. Both black and white are the same in regards to spec and compatibility listings. However, this may be a problem with Corsair's memory as their compatibility does not list AMD chipsets for this set. "Compatibility Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series,Intel X299" The CMW16GX4M2C3200C16W for example does list compatibility; "Compatibility Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series,Intel X299,AMD 300 Series,AMD 400 Series,AMD X570" |

Luckily I am not the only one to have the problem.
I looked up my memory (CMK16GX4M2D3600C18)-the 4 was missing- on Corsair“s website. It is listed as AMD X570 compatible. Now my memory runs at least at 3200MHz. Is set up OC-Mode in the BIOS and loaded the XMP Profile 1. I set the meory manually back to 3200MHz/1600MHz and got it running. I hope this can help you as well and that someone of ASRock can explain to us why the memory is not working at 3600MHz. https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kategorien/Produkte/Arbeitsspeicher/vengeance-lpx-black/p/CMK16GX4M2D3600C18]CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 Hyperlink does not function as well. ![]() |

3200MHz is a good start, everything higher is a non guaranteed OC for Ryzen 3000 cpus.
Don't believe this XMP profile stuff with just selecting a value and all is running out of the box. Learn how to setup the RAM for your board! Here a posting from Xaltar, he just wrote what i'm thinking too:

I've had a look at the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, but it's asking for a lot of information. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/
So I haven't really had the time to play with it and figure out all the settings. It looks like a lot needs to be filled in manually. If that's the case, I might as well just fill in stuff manually in the BIOS directly. |

Nothing else is to be done with the Ryzen DRAM calculator. It just gives you the hints what to fill manually in the bios. |

You need to remove the last bit ;) ]CMK16GX4M2D3600C18
https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kategorien/Produkte/Arbeitsspeicher/vengeance-lpx-black/p/CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 The [URL= linking doesnt work, possible because we don't have enough posts? I have the CMW range, which is the Vengeance RGB Pro stuff, so slightly different than yours. I'll try manually setting 3200 after enabling XMP like yourself and apparently others have done. That way it will at least be better than the default slow setting. |

Managed to get it to run at 3200 with cas16-18-18-36, which is what the 3200 Vengeange RGB Pro AMD sticks are set to run for. So not able to get it at 3600C18m, but still a lot better than 2133C15...
