I updated my X370 Gaming K4 motherboard to BIOS 6.00, from 5.80, since it supposedly had some RAM timing and CPU support improvements. I then ran Cinebench R20, to see if performance had changed, and my system rebooted partway through the test. I tried it again with the same result. I flashed the motherboard back to BIOS version 5.80, and all is well.
This new BIOS version updated AGESA to 1.0.0.6. I don't know if the AGESA code is to blame for the problem, or if it's something else in this new BIOS. Has anyone else experienced problems with any of the new BIOS versions that include AGESA 1.0.0.6? |
