    Posted: 11 Jul 2022 at 4:40pm
Whenever I boot my PC the first time, it will stuck at Asrock screen. Keyboard and mouse is not working. I have to hard shutdown the PC by press and hold the power button, and then power it on again then I'll be able to boot into the Windows OS. After that its fine even if I shutdown or restart the PC. But if I shutdown the PC for few hours (For eg: the next day I power it on again). The PC will stuck in Asrock screen again and I'll have to do a hard shutdown and power on the PC again.

What I've done so far to troubleshoot this issue:
1. Update BIOS to latest (My motherboard is Asrock B660m Steel Legend, BIOS version 7.0.3)
2. Remove all USB and try to boot normally and observe in few days, same issue happened.
3. Reimage the OS, same issue happened
4. Clear CMOS, same issue happened

Similar issue description that I can see from Microsoft forum but there's no answer: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-gets-stuck-at-asrock-screen-works-after/94ed8127-08e9-4620-b6f0-5f2765070491

Dear Foinam,

Maybe it would be best to use the technical support form
https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp
For your info, when there is no SATA, M.2 or USB cardereader connected, the system should always boot into BIOS, if this works fine, it has to do with the hardware that is connected, sometimes firmware issues on SSD's can also cause this
When using gmail, check your spam folder for the reply
Kind Regards

hello!

I'm having the same problem, did you manage to solve it?

the support link says that the server is under maintenance, so they will take a while to respond.

I really appreciate your answer.

Greetings.

Any updates?
I had the same issue, and it happened few times ... It's annoying, though the system was working fine if able to Login to Windows.

Sometimes i just need to unplug all peripheral cable and it was run without issue, but when the problem gone wild the "unplug all peripheral cable" not enough to fix the problem.

I was having this issue on my B660m Pro RS, the solution for me was to disable fast boot and now seems to be working ok
