Hello,I recently purchased components for my first system.
Ryzen 5 1500x gtx 1060 gpu hyper 8GB ddr4 ram my computer only boot with 1x stick of my brand new hyper x ram in slot A2. WHY? they are both identical and only one of them allows my computer to post. some help would be appreciated. i was thinking it could possibly be a motherboard issue |

Dear Kirzen, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. According to your question, we provide some suggestions to check your system and RAM: 1. Please refer to user manual page.25 to clear CMOS to verify: 2. If your memory supports XMP profile, please install one stick memory to post the system into BIOS setup. Under OC Tweaker tab>DRAM configuration, please load XMP profile and also manually adjust the memory frequency to DDR4-2400. Save the setting and check if system can boot with 2 x memory occupied. 3. Under BIOS setup, please use Instant Flash to update/downgrade the BIOS to P4.70/P3.40 by turns to verify. 4. If possible, please install other memory modules to verify if the issue is caused by incompatible DRAM. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
