I'm adding 2 more 8gb ram sticks of the same brand and everything to my motherboard and I get nothing. My computer starts and the everything lights up besides my K+M. If I remove the sticks, it works fine. If I remove the old sticks and add just the new ones, it works fine. It's clearly the mother board. What do I do? I have a windows 10 pro 64bit and the mother board can handle 32gb of ram. Someone help please. I know if I return them and get a new set it'll probably be the same problem because it's clearly the motherboard thats giving me issues. Thank you.

All four sticks must be matched and sold as set. It likely that a different memory chip is used on each pair, resulting in the compatibility issue you are seeing. This can happen to all mfgrs boards. There is nothing wrong with the board.

Dear Gehlbach,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Please install one stick memory at each slot to check all the memory slots work properly.

Because the two different set of the memory module may have the different memory chip, ASRock suggests using the 4 DIMM set at the same time instead of using two of 2 DIMM set.

ASRock also provides the memory support list for customer reference.

Thank you!

Yours truly,
