Dear Gpsuf,
Thanks for posting your query to ASRock forum. Regarding to what you are experiencing, could you kindly try the suggestions below: (Please try to start the system when every steps are done) Please perform each step carefully with power cable unplugged. 1. When installing the WiFi module please make sure that module inserts to the WiFi to the slot with 45 degree angle. Then please screw the module to the motherboard. 2. Kindly clear CMOS and try. (Make sure to unplug the power cable first) http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/DeskMini%20310%20Series.pdf Pg11 3. Please remove extra devices on the motherboard. (Only leave the CPU, memory module and try to boot) 4. Please reinstall the CPU and try. 5. If possible, please use different memory module and try to see if it will work. 6. Is there other motherboard you could test the WiFi module with? If there is, please try the WiFi module on different motherboard. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 13 Dec 2018 at 9:40am |

Hi,
I just assembled my new deskmini 310 and could not turn it ON (no power at all) until I removed the WIFI module which came with the deskmini. Does anyone have a clue? I have I3-8100, Samsung 1T SSD and Team T-Force 16G (single stick). The BIOS recognized all of them just fine. |
