Honestly, I think you are overloading that motherboard. A 2700x is already pushing the limits of the ultra budget board but when you add a 2080 to the mix that board is having to handle way more voltage and heat than it was designed for. You did not mention your case, CPU cooling method or case fan setup. On top of all that, that PSU is utter garbage. It is cheap and worse than that, it was designed for office workstations not gaming. If you look at your 12v rail ratings you will see that it uses 2 24a rails to add up to 540w. That in essence means that it is only a 270w PSU as far as the 12v line draw on a single rail goes.
I can see what you did, you cut corners on everything you could to fit a 2080 and 2700x into your budget The problem is that you cut them too much. At the very least you will need a better PSU, likely a better CPU cooler and case fans. I am going to guess that your CPU cooler and case are also a budget offerings? You did well to get the system to boot and install windows but for gaming, you will need to spend a bit more money to get things stable and safe. You wouldn't want to risk damaging your expensive components for the sake of the cheap ones.

BIOS temp is OK. It should be something around 50-60C, so that's fine.

Wow! CPU (Tdie) temps are way too high (102C
) ! There is something wrong here. I see the CPU boosting above 4GHz, but that shouldn't be possible even with the lowest Tdie I saw, i.e. 89C!Either the readings are totally off, or you have the strongest CPU ever built! Given Tjmax is rated for 85C for your model, what we're seeing here is nothing short of a miracle. I honestly can't believe this poor little mobo can handle the power delivery. As for the VRM, various sources across the web say the VRM should stay around 85C. Nothing above is good for their longevity . |

Leave only 1 stick of RAM in A2. Check CPU, RAM and GPU seating. Also, check cables. Re-seat and re-plug if necessary.
Clear CMOS once more, but don't touch ANYTHING in BIOS. Re-deploy Windows, get the chipset drivers from AMD and GPU ones from nvidia. Check the benchmarks again. |
