XMP3 Unlock X99 Gaming i7

   I have the X99 Gaming i7 board running bios version 1.70 and DDR4 PC3000 memory sticks.

When on bios version 1.40 the XMP 3 could be activated so the ram clock could be increased. After upgrading to 1.70, XMP 3 will not unlock. 

I don't want to go back to 1.40 because the upgrade fixed major stuttering issues with my CPU.

Would going to Beta 1.71 fix this issue? Why was this option disabled in 1.70?
