Thanks ASRock_TSD. That is exactly what I was going to suggest
![]() Check page 30 of your user manual (on the English version) for instructions on using the "Flashback" function of your board. Also, I am not Tech Support, I am just a community moderator for the forums here I help where I can but only users with "ASRock_Official" (5 stars under name) represent ASRock. Good luck |

Dear MrPanda,
Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. To support Thread Ripper 2950X CPU, the BIOS must be updated to P3.20 at least, otherwise, the system won't post. https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20X399%20Professional%20Gaming/index.asp#BIOS Please refer to our FAQ to flash the BIOS by BIOS Flashback feature: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/Fatal1ty%20X399%20Professional%20Gaming/index.asp#FAQ After BIOS update, the system will able to post with 2950X CPU. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |

Dear support,
Thanks, but seems like my BIOS version is the old one(1.30?). Not sure, I am still struggling now. |

What code is showing on your Dr. Debug display?
![]() I doubt the board is DOA. We need the debug codes to work out where the issue is. Off the top of my head it could be one of 3 things: 1. CPU not installed properly (very easy to do with TR4 sockets) 2. CPU not supported because the BIOS version shipped with the board predates 2000 series Threadripper. 3. Incompatible RAM The code on the debug display will help pin it down. The code we need is the one that persists not the ones that flash briefly. |

Hello guys,
Got the Motherboard today. Install all new 2950X CPU, 1060TI VGA and other components already. But when I power on system, no display on screen. The light is on and the fan is spin but just no output. Is my board DOA? |
