this is the QVL for your board when using your CPU. More than that I don't
know. I am not ASRock Tech Support and can only speak within my own experience. I wish I had access to every ASRock product ever made but I don't, only the ones I have purchased and used. Good luck. |

I need your board model, different motherboards will have different RAM models listed
in their compatibility list. You can go to your motherboard's product page, click the support link and go to memory the QVL list. Select the one for your CPU type. In your case the 2200g is a Raven Ridge model. here is an example, this is the QVL (memory compatibility list) for the AB350 Pro4. From here you can order by size and look through the 16gb options. You will want a 2 x 16gb kit rather than a 4x8 kit. Compatibility is better with 2 sticks than 4. I hope this helps. |

You didn't list your motherboard but if you have 4 memory slots then you need to
use slots A2 and B2 if you are using 2 sticks of RAM. The next thing I would try is using only a single stick of RAM in slot A2, the second slot from the CPU. It sounds like you could be experiencing RAM incompatibility which is causing the memory training to delay POST. |

Try disconnecting all USB devices from your system and turn it on with only the
monitor attached. Some USB devices can cause POST (the tests that happen before and during the ASRock logo being shown) to take a long time. I have seen similar issues here on the forums caused by a gaming mouse, gaming keyboard and gaming headset, 3 different users with similar issues each with a different USB device causing the issue. If that doesn't help then post back here and we can try to suggest more. |
