there have been some issues with realtek and recent windows 10 i'm currently not using any drivers from realtek and letting windows install and i havent changed since i dont have any problems with it but installing realtek drivers would cause no sound for me (i havent any newer drivers)
so you could just uninstall and let it go auto and see if there is any audio from the system i also think theres realtek software in the win store but heh i dont like installing anything from that |

Turns out it was a faulty audio codec on the mobo. My retailer was able to confirm that. Will get it replaced from them since they had a 15 day return policy with the store.

I recently purchased a Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 and updated the bios to the latest driver on the motherboard support page and also installed other drivers available there. I installed the realtek high definition audio driver, however, I do not see it when I open device manager under the sounds, video and audio controller. The only thing I see there is High Definition Audio. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling realtek multiple times, yet no luck. Is it an issue with the mobo?
