Dear Vojzlisalv,
Thanks for verifying. Since there are no other memory modules that can be tested with, we will recommend having the system checked through your motherboard distributor to see if the B1 slot is working properly. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 28 Nov 2019 at 4:19pm |

Dear Vojzlisalv,
Thanks for the reply. We have checked our lab, however, we were not able to find the same memory modules to test with. Will the SSD be gone if install only one RAM to B1 slot? If possible, please try with the different memory modules. Also, we have checked, the memory modules that you have comes with 1pc per package. For better compatibility, it is recommended to use the memory modules that come with 2pcs per package when RAMs are used on the same system. Please refer to our QVL list for the memory modules that have been tested. https://www.asrock.com/nettop/AMD/DeskMini%20A300%20Series/#Memory2 With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 26 Nov 2019 at 4:47pm |

I recently bought the A300 deskmini and I am having issues with the RAM memory.
CPU: 2400g RAM: 8GB SODIMM DDR4 Kingston PC2666 HyperX Impact x2 M.2 SSD Bios version 3.50 The issue started when installing windows, I got random errors and crashes. After that I removed one stick and the problem was fixed. I ran MemTest86 and found out that I get errors only when slot marked with B1 in the manual is filled (both sticks work fine in slot A1). When I tried setting the RAM speed to 2133 the MemTest86 didn't report any errors. However today, my system booted to bios as the SSD was not recognized. After removing the RAM stick from B1 the system booted up normally. So my question is should I try to update the bios to 3.60 or is there anything else I should try or should I just return the unit to the vendor? |
