Hi guys,
I recently bought an Z390 Phantom Gaming 4 plus an I7 9700K, having a HyperX Predator Black 16GB, DDR4, 3200MHz, 2x8GB kit and for the cooling solution I went with my old Scythe NINJA 4 (which I correctly mounted, cleaned it before mounting it and applied a brand new Arctic Cooling 4 grease). For the BIOS options I went with whatever the mainboard was coming as the defaults, just set the MEMORY option to use the XMS profile 1. The issue which I'm currently having and I just cannot fix it, is when I just ran the CPUz benchmark option my temperatures (for CPU) are exceeding 100 degrees Celsius. I just don't know what else to do. I've attached some print screens with the temperatures and with the ASRock monitoring tool. The only solution which I could find was to down clock the CPU and to limit it to 3.8 GHz, which under full load was capping at 80 degrees Celsius. Could you please advise what should I do in order to be able to safely use my setup? Looking forward to your replies, Bogdan. Edited by ASRock_TSD - 18 Dec 2019 at 12:10pm |
