Of course I meant 'suspiciously like PCI3'.

So I just tried installing 4 x Seagate Firecuda 520's in RAID 0 on the Hyper Quad and I'm getting writes topping out at 3.89GBps and reads at 5.22GB/s which looks suspiciously to me like PCI4.
This is on a TRX40 Taichi which comes with the hyper quad - in the ASrock recommended PCIE4. Did anyone else experience this / solve this? Thanks David |

Hello Brian,
seq read 4747ï¼?sounds too low, should be this link multiply 4 = 7000Mb/s https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/zY4mMsbYdA4JUC3ayDKGUm-970-80.png seq write 6115, sounds about right to me, because 660p is slow, only around 1700mb/s, https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/FRZi4HbetMXCawprZFMsab-970-80.png so 4 card is 7000. If you get a HP EX950, write is 2900Mb/s then 4 card raid-0 is around 11000Mb/s those guys with very high transfer are using very fast NVMe like HP EX950 |

It seems my hyper quad m2 raid array is pretty slow?
seq read 4747 seq write 6115 (as measured by crystaldiskmark) https://www.dropbox.com/s/sgqamkrc86zii97/crystaldisk.png?dl=0 this is 4x 1tb Intel 660p M2 cards in a raid 0 configuration I have seen specs of similar setups that are 115304 seq read doesn't have to match, but seems like it could be much faster? I'm pretty sure I have the firmware configured correctly, the card is in slot 3. the swap disks i have set up on the raid array are a constraint to performance on some of my most important apps Any feedback, suggestions, questions would be great thank you! Brian |
