Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum. Regarding your question, the header should work once plugged in. Kindly try with different USB type C devices. So I have an ASRock Z370 Extreme4 with a Front Panel Type C USB 3.1 Gen1 Header (ASMedia ASM1074 hub). I recently bought a new case which is the NZXT H510 that has a USB 3.1 Gen2-compatible USB-C connector on the front panel. I've got it hooked up and nothing registers that I plug into the port.
Are they not backward compatible or is something else going on that I've missed? |
