Hello,

I have 3 dead plain SSD?™s. I switched from an ASUS Sabertooth Z170 S to this board. All went well however one of my three SSD?™s is not being sensed. It?™s a 480 Gb Kingston A400. Initially I tried keeping the same SATA numbers as before. I had them on 1, 2 and 4. However only 1 and 4 were detected. The Kingston on 2 was not. I tried two other spots on the 0 - 5 slots, but to no avail, I see in the manual that some combinations of slots disable others, but if I understood correctly, slots 1, 2 and 4 weren?™t conflicting. Clearly this is new to me and I?™m doing something wrong.

So the question is, what slots are best used (0-5 and A1 and A2) for 3 plain jane SSD?™s in order for the BIOS to detect all three?

Thanks,

p.s. AHCI now selected in BIOS.
