Dear Leungwh,
Thank you for the posting. The 'Launch Video OpROM Policy" is default as "Legacy Only" when the "CSM" is enabled. For this case, could you please provide the whole system configuration(CPU, GPU, BIOS, DRAM) for us? Thank you, Best wishes, ASRock TSD |

Nope, I'm afraid this CSM option has been removed since BIOS version 3.xx
* Launch Video OpROM Policy Maybe it still exist in ancient BIOS version 1.70 or before, but those versions are too old to be practical anymore. You cannot rollback to BIOS 1.xx once you have upgraded to 3.xx anyway. There are only two options in BIOS 3.xx or 4.xx CSM menu * Launch PXE OpROM Policy * Launch Storage OpROM Policy Trust me, I tried, without "Launch Video OpROM Policy" option in CSM set to legacy. non-UEFI graphics card won't boot up. |

when you enable CSM, then CSM fallback gets enabled for hardware which doesnt support UEFI, gpu is included
load optional oproms should be around there aswell |

Not sure if ASRock technical support reading these threads.
Can we reintroduce CSM Video OpROM Policy into Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac BIOS? Seems it have been removed since BIOS version 3.xx Graphic Cards are too expensive these days. Many folks (like me) need to resort to legacy non-UEFI graphic card as a stop gap solution. And those cards won't be able to boot up with out CSM Video OpROM Policy enabled. |
