I've finally set up a couple RAIDs and everything looks good... up next, some slight OC'ing and time for benchmark testing.  Prior to me getting this all sorted out, my system was scoring so bad.  It's scores were on par with my Dell XPS 9550, which shouldn't even be close in scores.  Everything should stay cool though, I replaced my air cooler with the Kraken x52... so things should stay nice and cool.

Just finished a complete reinstall this morning. Took it down to pieces and cleaned it too while I was at it.

As to can't afford. I need some fast ram to run across pre-release BIOSes. It's Sammy B-dies so so far it's been workable on everything I've put it in. Fastest one of six 16GB DDR4 kits I have.

Oh! Ask my Wife. We couldn't afford it either EmbarrassedTongue

X370 Killer SLI/ac

Keep in mind when looking at these I hadn't tweaked anything. Those timings are what mem training set.

Yet it is tested stable at 3333, 1.35vDIMM, 1.1 SoC

You weren't asking me, but I am now using 3.20 in an X370 Killer SLI/ac, which wardog also uses.

I think 3.20 is fine, the additional options for Smart Fan control in HW Monitoring are worth checking.

They haven't released an update to the BIOS for my board from what I can see.

Yea. There goes nothing.Ouch

I'm semi-down till I figure out what I killed in Windows lastight.

Got the 3TB drives RAIDed, decided to update my BIOS to 3.20 and play with mem for a few, got it to boot albeit very unstable @ 3600, 3600!!!!!!, and wham.

Windows 10 Pro is hosed.

I'll fiddle some more then I'll reinstall, or try a Repair

wardog, sorry to hear of your problems.  I have avoided the latest BIOS because of the problems posted in the forums, no real information for what is contained in the update and no apparent problems with my system  Enjoy, John.

Whatever you do, do NOT connect an Intel IRST RAID array to your Ryzen PC. The AMD RAID driver and software will try to make sense of it, but it is not compatible, and the result will be a huge mess in RAIDXpert2. It won't ruin your AMD RAID arrays, but you'll have some cleaning up to do after you remove the Intel RAID array disks. RAIDXpert2 remembers the arrays it thinks it detected, waiting for them to be fixed, etc.

Why..... That sounds like experience talking there TongueGeek

i was waiting for parsec to say at the end
