I used a few no-name, run-of-the mill strips but I've seen them perform in the store. They were on demo in the store, so I'm pretty sure I've seen them capable of smooth transitions.
As soon as I got them in my rig and the smooth transitioning was gone. I got them out shortly after. Too much bling for my taste, I just wanted to see what all the fuzz was about. It's my belief that it's the controller on the mobo that does this, not the strips. Then again, I've never dived deeper into this issue. |

Same with my X370 Taichi. The 'breathing' RGB effect is looks very bad. The transition is not smooth at all.

Hello, i have a ab350 fatal1ty k4 motherboard with a ryzen 1600x. and I have this weird issue with my rgb, I have seen videos of people using the same rgb strip on other motherboards doing smooth color changes. However on my motherboard, it is not smooth, it looks weird, it changes colors without any smoothness, just changes colors and that's it , and when doing the breathing you can see how it stops each second to change to a lighter tone. not smooth at all. https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-Mystic-BIOSTAR-LS02/dp/B01MV46VAF this is the rgb I have . I am using the asrock app from windows and I can see the change. I also have an 1070 from evga with rgb and its rgb its way smoother and the breathing effect much nicer. Is this an issue with the motherboard rgb header ? is it supposed to be like that? .
