Well, thankfully I didn't go out and spend another 500.00 on a CPU I didn't need. I just got another motherboard (exact same model), installed it and my problems are gone. Of course it has to be everything else barring the motherboard... I mean really guys, I appreciate the attempt to help, but if helping in you guys opinion is wasting people's time and money, is it really helping in the first place? Not one of you mentioned anything about it possibly being the motherboard. I realize the hesitation and bias, but let's be real here. Motherboards, like any other component can fail, it doesn't mean you have an inferior product, it just means, for whatever reason, it failed. Just not sure why it's so hard to admit.

Have you tried running memtest?

Even if the RAM is good, there is a chance the IMC (integrated memory controller) on the CPU has conked out. If memory serves, we saw a fair number of instances of X99 CPUs needing to be RMAed with this issue when the platform was new.

This is certainly a tricky one.....

Yes, as I stated previously, which I quoted above again, I'm very careful not to push too much air where it shouldn't be pushed. I hold the nozzle 2-3 feet away just to get the dust out. I don't use it as an air cleaner or sand blasting technique. lol

Ok, tried the fan on the i/o panel, no changes.

As for the response to what specific PSU I'm running currently. I purchased a Corsair HX1000i about 2 weeks ago. Turns up I didn't need it, but that's what I'm currently using, it seems to be a great PSU for my system.

Another question for you if I may.

Think back.......... Might you have made a system/BIOS/OS/hardware change when this began?

Too, what PSU? Specifics please.

Oooook then.

Let's take the less traveled road. Still power though.

Water Cooled via H60.

Place a decent(not low noise/low rpm) fan, safely, directly over the VRM section between the CPU socket and the rear I/O panel.

Post back if that does anything there for this. Using water cooling, all manufacturers of the kits and MB manuf's specift/req this be done. With a HS/F combo it pushes air through this area/section. The pump NOW over your 5820K? Um...nope. Zip. Nada, Zilch.

Post back the results please.

And an FYI. Air hose = compressor? Careful you don't lift off any of the components when doing that. In all my years I've only seen three having done that, but .......

EDIT: CU to CPU

Bought a new PSU almost off the bat when the issue first began. Also, I have other RAM lying around that fit this setup and the results are the same. They are dual channel, but all tested as performing well on another machine, before attempting it in mine. Results are, my RAM is perfectly fine.

"Lock ups' w/o producing a Dump file after are 99.99% the result of bad or eroding memory and power supplies.

So if it is duplicable, I'd try using some diff mem off maybe a friend .

Sorry and the answer is no, no one smokes in my family and they damn sure don't smoke in my house. As far as dust, we have a maid that cleans once a week and she's been doing a great job for about 15 years now. I also personally clean my entire PC about once every 3 months. I take it out to my garage and blow out as much debris and dust as I can with my air hose. I make certain not to force too much pressure where I shouldn't and I've been doing that for years and nothing like this has happened.

In the mean time, try a full CMOS clear:

While you have the battery out make sure you reseat your RAM and GPU, check the slots for dust and debris that my have gotten worked in there. Basically, think about all your PC has been through since you built it and check for things that could cause problems. How dusty was the inside of your PC? Do you smoke? If you do then tar builds up inside the PC in a thin layer, this can block contact on things like memory and your GPU. Take a clean rag and some isopropyl alcohol and clean the contacts of both your RAM and GPU before reinserting them.

Let us know how it goes.

Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.16299 (Build 16299)
ASRock x99x Fatality Killer Bios Version 3.30 (Recently Flashed)
Intel i7-5820k
G-Skill RipJaw Series 4 DDR4 4x4gb @ 16gb 4 channel
EVGA GTX 1080ti
Crucial MX100 512gbx2 Raid 9 (Sata Ports 1&2)
Samsung 860 EVO 2TB (Sata Port 3)
Water Cooled by Corsair H60

I've literally tried everything. Followed the 16 steps on Toms Hardware to a T, purchased a new PSU for nothing and several other components.. for nothing. I'm getting a normal startup beep, as though it's running fine,  then begins to load windows but freezes at the black screen, just before it loads.
