Ok I have a new question, so I installed Fedora onto my computer but every time I try to boot it says
sd 3:0:0:0: [sda] no caching mode page found sd 3:0:0:0: [sda] assuming drive cache: write through sp4100-tco sp4100-tco: 1/0 address 0x0xd6 already in use kvm: disabled by bios kvm: disabled by bios this displays for like half 2 seconds and then the signal goes out...and then I have to restart my mobo and the loop continues unless I go to the bios screen.. Ive been troubleshooting since I last posted here, and Ive tried researching online and can't figure out what to do. Any ideas? PS: I went and returned my 650PSU and got the 1000Watt one Edited by Genesisclimber - 01 Aug 2018 at 9:14am |

you miss the point kerberos im not saying it will prevent booting im saying for a new build costing over 2000 dollers the design is lacking a high enough psu unit for typical power draw to remain in its comfort zone as for effects of pulling too much power close to the limit than stability can actually come into effect for the system with random crashing etc ,even down to jet turbine noise from the psu fan trying to keep it cool, hence my suggestion that the psu was bought a bit on the small side

in worst case scenario psu will just overheat but that wattage would be usualy when u put some heavy load on it (smt like stress test) usualy gaming isnt hard for both cpu/gpu

i just run your system thru the coolermaster power supply calculator with the titan clocked at 1800 mhz and the ryzen at 4.1 this system will pull 632 watts .............................................. |

oh wow I might have to take mine back then and upgrade to the 1000 watt module if that's the case.

horay a bios screen all is well the reason i mentioned psu size was more to do with typical system design and that a psu quoted rating is at 50% load eg if a system can pull 400 watts while gaming you would ideally select an 800w psu to keep it running at its best range a titan x and a 2700x plus board and ram and drives are going to suck more than 325watts before even thinking of overclocking just a heads up mate while i was replying to the issue (i would presume the titan x systems out there are more likely on 1000 watt range psu's)

Ok I tried turning the system on with just 2 sticks of ram and then the 62 appeared again. Ive taken out everything else I possibly can, I still have no display.
Update: I swapped my graphics card to a different slot. It hovered over 62 for a second then stopped on A6. @daytonyb I didnt think i would need more than 650 watts on a power supply because the proposed wattage on pcpart picker was like 100watts less but this is my first build so I wouldnt know any better. It doesnt seem like the power supply is the issue though as far as I can tell. Edited by Genesisclimber - 30 Jul 2018 at 10:05am |

also try another form of cable from gpu to monitor eg. hdmi-display port swap and the psu seems a little on the small side for the price of rest of parts and the demand a titan may place on the system (i mean why skimp on 65 bucks when system was 2500+)

in that case it is southbridge runtime services (pch drivers), so some device cant be initialised, try to remove every pci-e device (even m.2 drive) also try to put gpu in another slot if that doesnt help, try to use any random gpu so u can get inside bios to flash it if latest bios doesnt help, then try it with disabled CSM (it doesnt use PCH driver) also if latest bios doesnt support your gpu, make sure to report it at https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp
