The x670e Steel Legend board has the same problem. Can you please make updated bios for it as well?


That being said nvidia has release a firmware update for the 4090 that fixed the issue you were attempting to fix. I think your best bet would to revert the change you made for 4090's in all future bios updates and recommend users use the official nvidia fix to prevent future issues.

its still restarting with the Aso6 bios update. not sure what is wrong there are others with the exact same issue. its coming down to either the motherboard bios or the cpu itself. might need to give it some time for things to smooth out. I always had a problem with AMD tho my last AMD set up was the FX 8350 and i remember getting tons of freezes. I switch back to AMD because people say it got alot better but it was a mistake. I cant remember the last time i had a hiccup with intel. This will be my last AMD set up.

I just installed the new Aso6 bios guess we will see if it'd stable.

AS05, AS06, and 1.07 are all still equally problematic with my X670E Taichi, 64GB 6000Mhz GSkill, Founders 4090 and 7950X. However, a 7700X works with no issues on AS05. Do I need to RMA my 7950X or is this related to the bios/4090? It will not load the bios half the time and will crash in the bios. Will not even load windows 90% of the time. None of these issues pop up with 7700X. If no one else has run into that exact issue with 7950X I?™m going to have to assume the cpu is the issue.

The current version is 1.11.AS06 Beta. My board works stable since 1.11.AS05 Beta.

I'm also having the same problem. 7950x and 3090 ti 4800mhz corsair dominater ram. It happens mostly on a cold boot. It would just freeze and restarts. I did all kinds of research before landing here. Seems we all are having the same problem.

For me the 1.11 AS05 also fixed the problems with the start after hibernating the Windows 10 system. So far it came up after several hibernates.
I won't install AS06 and wait for the next non-beta release.
