That?™s awesome! I?™m currently going back and forth with Asrock support on this and they are testing out my fix as well. I will let them know that at least one other person has had this resolve their crashes.

@Katana1074: I just tried flashing 1.14 beta and same as before got nothing but blue screens. I remember reading that disabling fast boot in windows solved the issue for some people. I just did that and I'll see what happens in the morning. My next step is to disable it in bios.

Little update.

I finally had a chance to tackle some of the stability issues that my RyZen 7950X / ASRock B650E PG Riptide WiFi based system.   First I tried a new BIOS version 1.11AS04 which didn?™t help. Since the system would blue screen , freeze or just randomly reboot at initial boot primarily it?™s easy to spot.

I tried disabling the C-State option in BIOS after the beta upgrade and that seemed to address the issue. All indications are that the system is now rock solid.

Unfortunately after a couple of days the freezing seems to be still present even with the 1.14 beta bios and the IGPU overclocking at 2200.
I ran a tough torture test for an hour or so and then let the pc rest.
I had power saving set so that the screen shuts down after 15 minutes and the computer goes to sleep after 30. When I came back after about 40 minutes the screen was black, but all the lights were on the pc and it did not respond to the keyboard or mouse. Had to press reset to reboot the thing. Fast boot is already disabled, but next I am going to disable all power saving features and see if this will help.

I would suggest either disabling the iGPU outright or lower the clock speed to 800mhz which is what BIOS version 1.07 had. It could just be that your particular cpu is still unstable with that 2200mhz overclock.

Disabling fast boot didn't work for me, either in bios, windows, or both. I've now disabled all c states and will post my results. I'm optimistic this will work as I noticed a C2 dr debug code (means there was an error waking from c2 state) on one of my crashes from a cold boot.

Off topic, but I'd like to thank everyone in this thread, even this forum for their troubleshooting contributions. It's great to see everyone working together, trying to help each other out, and trying to figure these issues out once and for all. I'm both glad and proud to be a member of the ASRock community.

Ok. IGPU Disabled and the C-states as well. I will report in a couple of days if everything is stable.

Ok, no I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I've disabled all c states, disabled igpu, and disabled fast boot. I still have the issue where I get a restart from a cold boot. No errors in event log when I get into windows, no blue screen before restart.

My igpu still shows up in device manager under other devices -> PCI Device. Should I try uninstalling it?

Hi Crazy098, out of curiosity, do you have your RAM installed in slots A2 and B2?
If you are using 2 modules they should always be in these slots. I have seen a lot
of issues (restart on cold boot being a common one) caused by having the RAM in slots
A1 and B1.
