ASRock B650M PG Riptide

Hi all,

I'm experiencing random bluescreen crashes after swapping to this motherboard and with a new CPU and GPU. I have updated the firmware/bios, and installed the latest chipset drivers for Wwindows 11. Running the default configuration in the bios apart from disabling the HD audio.

I've had maybe 4-5 different BSOD error messages, but they appear to only happen just after booting my computer when its been turned off for a few hours and the launching a youtube video and a computer game. Any chance the crashes could be related to the pc parts being cold, or any other theory?

When I boot up the pc after the initial crash, i am able to run CPU/GPU/Memory stresstest applications without any crashes. The only other problem i have noticed is crackling in the usb headset, but not sure if that is related.

Thanks for the quick reply. The Windows installation is fresh, and I already replaced my old PSU with a "MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 1000W" because of the power requirements on the GPU (7900 XTX).

The only parts i didnt replace was my harddrives and CPU fan.

Id rather not buy a new PSU just to test, do you think it would be worth changing around which connections points on the PSU i use?

sounds like not enough SOC voltage and/or infinity fabric voltageseses, so many terms, one of them is CLDO_VDDP, and may be MEM_VDD, VPP, VDDQ, VDD_MISC, these are critical to DDR5 stability in order not to experience sudden BSOD, also because vdrrop.

would be helpful if you can also list ram spec, running EXPO or XMP or not at all, etc etc.....

CPU PBO still a thing for zen4??? then CO = curve optimizer being used?
