i am using with jumpers setting for working RAM on 800/1066 instead of variant of 1000/1333
may be it is impossible to use RAM on 1333 with G41 in some cases.

By gosh, I didn't look close enough at that link I posted. The G41C-GS is listed there. |

Umm, really? You installed an LGA771 socket processor into the G41M-G3's LGA775 socket? Unless you did the 771>775 mod to the Xeon, of which I don't see it ever being done with this MB, and expect to flash a custom BIOS, and again I don't see it done previously, then no you're out of luck. |

Not sure how or why going to and older BIOS works there but Hey!, if it works ..........
![]() Glad to hear you have both sticks at 1333. |

Well, some good news.
I've downgraded BIOS to first one version:1.0 Just set mem voltage to 1.50 and speed to 1333mhz and thats it, it worked and it's fine. If you want i can post CPUZ pics if don't you can close the topic. Regards, Edited by NorTech006 - 14 Nov 2016 at 2:50am |

If you check the Memory QVL document for the G41C-GS, a memory speed of 1333 is an over clock: http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory/G41C-GS.pdf The memory controller in your system is part of the G41 chipset. The specifications show a supported memory speed for DDR3 memory to be 1066 maximum: http://ark.intel.com/products/36528/Intel-82G41-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller-Hub So a DDR3 memory speed of 1333 is an OC on your board. Normally the more memory that is being used (4GB instead of 2GB for example), the harder it is to over clock the memory. Less memory is easier to OC, as you have seen. Try these things to see if you can get all 4GB of your memory to run at 1333: 1. In the BIOS, in the OC Tweaker, DRAM Timing Configuration screen, set all the memory timing options to Auto. 2. In the OC Tweaker screen, increase the DRAM Voltage to 1.65V. Save and Exit the BIOS, boot into Windows, and check your memory speed. If this works at 1333, then you can try to set the memory timings lower than what the Auto setting gives you, likely higher than 9 9 9 24. If this does not work, try increasing the memory voltage to 1.70V, with the memory timings set to Auto again. If that fails, you can either keep increasing the memory voltage, or just accept you can't OC 4GB of that memory. |

I do not work for ASRock yet I'd bet due to the G41's age a new BIOS forthcoming from ASRock is slim.
What I'd do is contact ASRock Tech HERE and state your issue and include the links you mention. But, keep in mind 1333 is a OC on the G41 as it's official top end is 1066. |
