I'm pretty sure I've answered all of their questions.. old drivers were conflicting with the new drivers that's what they told me and fresh installs means they did a fresh install of all windows 10 drivers and the 970 as well.. and it was a new install of windows 10. Wardog everything was new in this current build the only thing i used from the first build was the psu.

Ok, good. I wanted to get clarification on that as many here simply don't put the K at the end when asking for help. In your instance the BIOS rev. would have mattered greatly depending on which model.

Hmm, so if I read your first post right. this HDD/SSD you're using, it came with Windows already on it from the previous build you were using then?

I have the same board, and have never had the problems you are having with any video playback, even when using the Intel integrated graphics.

So the shop did work for you, but did not fix it. What

The same issue using the onboard graphics and the video card? The first thing I would do in that case is change the cable to the monitor.

The conflicting driver situation is strange, how did that happen? What drivers were in conflict?

What does the shop did "fresh installs" mean, of the video drivers for the Intel and GTX 970 graphics?

What version of Windows are you using, and did you install it new for you new board?

What is the exact model of memory you are using?

PSU power is not as important as PSU quality.

The others posting in your thread have asked many questions you have not answered, which is not helping yourself either.

The non-K 4790 is supported by all BIOSes.

The 4790K requires BIOS 1.3 or above.

Which model of processor do you have ?

I see that there are two connectors DVI-I and HDMI ... have you tried both?

Too, so we don't duplicate what the shop preformed, just what did they do and the results.
