Updating Microsoft Secure Boot keys till Oktober 2026.
Microsoft has stated that they will approach all partners to issue the new key certificates. However, motherboard manufacturers will have to add some of them via BIOS updates. My question is: Will ASRock provide BIOS updates for all of its boards until October 2026, regardless of their age? For example, I have a Z390 Extreme 4 motherboard running the latest BIOS (beta BIOS 4.30F). Will there be a final BIOS update for my Z390 Extreme 4 with the new Secure Boot certificate keys?

I hope for a quick (timely) answer.

Best regards

I'm afraid that isn't something I have the answer to. You can try opening a support
ticket with ASRock and inquire with them directly:

Thank you for the fast answer and help. I will open a Support ticket.
But maybe you can take a note to the Forum owners/ Administrators too?
This is something all Customers of ASRock will and have to know about.

Thanks, I agree that it's an important matter. While I don't speak for ASRock as
I am only a community moderator, I do get fairly frequent updates from ASRock
about key issues.

I typically get an email with a request to make an announcement with things like
this but only when ASRock has an official stance/statement ready. Through support
tickets you can often get early access to beta BIOS versions etc as ASRock's tech
support staff often go above and beyond to help users with issues.

Well i got a answer of the Support.
Maybe it will help you too if the same question will come in the future like from me.

"Hello,
the information I have is, that you just need to make sure Windows Update is enabled.
Microsoft will update it via windows update.
No specific BIOS need.

Kind regards

Hello, I have a Z97E-ITX/AC mobo, bios version P2.20. I upgraded the unit from Win7 Home to Win10 Enterprise edition (clean install). My problem is that the PC no longer displays the PCIE slot X16, primary GPU (GeForce GT 740 2gb) in the device manager. There was already a (1 x 2 riser card) installed in the unit so I'm thinking I may need to update the bios to a version that enables PCIE bifurcation. This is just my assumption. Can someone tell me which bios version I'll need for this or is there something else going on that causing my problem.. Thank you so much
