Is it a sure thing that RX 460 would work with UEFI Windows ? cause I dont really want to reinstall the windows without it working. Edited by sleepyhead - 20 Feb 2017 at 11:31pm |

DO clear your bios FIRST. Assuming all else is working fine and you have an adequate PSU there is no reason it shouldn't be now. Guarantee? I can't go that far. And c'mon. Installing Windows isn't that much of a pain in the you know where Where's your sense of adventure Edited by wardog - 20 Feb 2017 at 11:43pm |

So, before I reinstall the windows I must clear the bios, right? should I remove the CMOS battery and put it back in or just Load UEFI Default in the BIOS ? I wouldn't say that a 15$ PSU is adequate gonna change it most probably on friday or early with a Sirtec - High Power EP-500BR II This is my current PSU model could this be an accomplice too ? If the GPU isn't getting enough power to initialize properly then yes, it could be.

I forgot to mention that while I get the black screen when I do boot with CSM Enabled, the RX 460 fan's keep spinning, but when I disable CSM and it eventually boot "properly" the fan's are going automatically into idle mode.

Post back once you have the new PSU, it is one of the things I was going to inquire about/suggest you replace.

Considering, I would pull the battery and jumper the CLRCMOS1 for 1min. The re-jump CLRCMOS1 and then insert the battery.
Accomplice? If it is not the outright cause of your issues I will be amazed. Yea. Toss that Delux one in the garbage. |

Yeah that's what I plan to do with it, Toss it into the garbage. But would Sirtec - High Power EP-500BR II do its job? Are there any other decent PSU's in the 45-50$ price range? How about a Corsair NEW VS Series VS550 or Super Flower SF-550K12XP v2 550W ? Edit: I'm trying to make a Windows 7 bootable USB Stick and I don't know what to choose between these that would eventually boot with my new GPU without disabling CSM in the bios using the old GPU. The Corsair would probably be the better bet.
