if lowdog has your board i would probably myself be more inclined to copy another similar setup to try and hopefully get something more likely to work
but if your still trying for 32 gb then the suggested ram by lowdog would be better
as the gskill 16gb sticks would be double sided and i feel sure would not reach 3200 speeds yet

Thanks for your opinion.
I think that there is no big difference between taichi and professional gaming board - I suppose that everything which is supported by taichi should be supported by professional gaming. Could you write down how exactly your setup looks - I mean ram freq, cl, 32 or 16 gb, 4 or 2 slots covered, exact ram model etc?

The problem is that it doesn't boot up when Im changing ram freq to greater than 2133. I have the newest mobo bios. Should I change my ram Or do something more - looks like changing profile to xfr also doesn't work:-(
I have the same kit.  I HAD it going stable @ 2667, IIRC @ 16-16-16-16-38 1.35V on BIOSes PRIOR to 2.00.  That was showing in every utility to be running at 1T CR.

WITH 2.00 I can get it to 2400, 1.35V with loose timings, IRC 18-18-18-18-53 (check the pro thread I think I put the values in one of my posts).  EVERY utility NOW shows it to be running at CR 2T!  ALL attempts to go above 2400 @ 1.35V now fail.

ALSO the QVL list has been EDITED. MANY parts that used to be on it are NOW GONE!

2.00 is utter crap IMNHO and should've been pulled other than I guess that they wanted the Ryzen 5 support and FMA3 workaround. o.w. IME it's a SERIOUS REGRESSION from ALL PRIOR betas/releases.  In addition to crap(pier) RAM support they also BORKED profile loading, so really I guess that 2.00 should've been put under betas...

My board came with 1.20 BIOS originally but I pretty much went to the first BIOS that the WTF they call their in BIOS flash method enabled/working as IIRC the only way to update at the time was with the nailbiting windows method.

heres what im using
gskill f4-3200c15d-16gtz (its a 2 x 8gb kit = 16gb)
it is normal tridentz but heres the deal the c14 and c15 3200 kits are all samsung b die
NOT ALL THE C16 KITS ARE ! be warned .......
my actual installation is then as follows
two sticks of ram at 8gb each inserted into slot a2 and b2

now with version bios 2
i can either just click xmp and it loads them ok
or manually set them
either way
i show
15
15
15
35
but when the system boots it always loads 16/15/15/35 into windows (even still says 15/15/15/35 in bios)
no real problem i cant wait for later bios
the other settings i change are
SOC voltage to 1.00 volts and i set it fixed voltage and LLC level 2
vcore is set to fixed volts and llc level 2 also
but i use the p states to tune the cpu and the settings for that are
9c which equals 3900mhz
8
27 which equals 1.306 volts vcore

bryan at tech city (search tech city on you tube) has a very nice simple and easy to understand overclocking guide for the p states cpu on his you tube channel its well worth a watch (is based on taichi bios but should be similar to yours)

Unfortunately looks like cl18 + 2400 (0,0075) is almost the same as cl16+2133 so I don't know if there is eny noticable benefit from that:)

IT IS NOT gareenteed
even some sticks of ram on the QVL are still not reaching fastest speeds
as i said in my first reply to you

the best chance to achieve 3200 would be with two sticks of single sided samsung b dies at less than 8gb each stick
but it is 'best chance' not 100%
just buying cl15 ram will not in any way make magic happen

we had a guy here the other week with the ram you linked .he could not get it at any good speed on the taichi so as i say nothing is 100%

could you give me a link to post from guy with exactly the same Trident Z 32GB issue? I'm curious what you mean by "any good speed":) looks like this ram support 14cl with 3200Mhz so it should be best option if may update will finally resolve all issues...

no the guy who had the cl14 trident and couldnt get it to work fast was using the 16gb kit the same sticks as you linked but uses two not four sticks
the code or D or Q just denotes what kit they are put into dual or quad

i think the main problem at the moment is the amd agesa code not really liking 4 sticks of ram or double sided ram both these together are forcing slower speeds
combined must be even harder

we can only guess or assume as to how good the difference will be with the may 1005 agesa

i think/hope it might be reasonable to hope for max 3600 on single sided pair of sticks eg 16gb max
it would be nice to assume/hope for 3000 on 4 sticks or double sided eg 16gbx2 or 8gbx4 sticks 32bg max

My bad!

I was thinking about 2x16gb:
https://octopart.com/f4-3200c14d-32gtz-g.skill-78439875

I've linked wrong ram;/

I though that it would be easier to achieve high speeds on dual channel (16x2gb) than 4x8gb

it should be (less strain on the cpu mem controller) but

it still is dealing with dual sided sticks in the above 16gb x 2 kit
at the moment the
proverbial 'rule of thumb' is
for best chance of 3200 speed
use single sided ram sticks (these can only be upto 8gb each)
with samsung b dies (once again these seem only to be 8gb sticks))
and only use two slots (a2 b2)

i think theres 32gb systems around for sure maybe 2666 and 2993 speeds but the timings seem to be high and the success low

were talking some 16gb x2 kits not even booting

i feel your asking for someone to come up with a magical suggestion for ram 32gb kit that just dosnt exist at the moment
its just early days for the brand new am4/ryzen platform very much like the early x99 intel systems with the same sort of ram choice/memory speed issues

to sum up
you can have hopefully have a good chance to get 3200 and some cl14 or cl15 timings but only on 16gb max ram

if you must use 32 gb then you will have to expect slower speeds and maybe higher latency

now on the upside its reasonable to expect a new agesa code bios to be around in two weeks maybe it will be a very good improvement

There are some... interesting posts about Ryzen DDR4 from forum moderators Xaltar and Wardog. So stay tuned? They appear to be preparing to update the AMD Motherboard forum specifically targeting Ryzen.

I was able to get 64gb's of the 'dreaded' SK Hynix dual ranked ram working at 2400mhz@CAS 12.

So I'm happy enough, if any bios/microcode updates move it higher to it's 3200Mhz rated speed and then the 'infinity fabric' runs at 1600/mt's then I'll be even happier! With the 2 CCX's running faster and with less latency between them all things would run better, albeit some only slightly better.

My timings for the Gskill 64GB F4-3200C16Q-64GTZKW Kit are:
12-12-12-29 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS)

Link:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232329

When I use the BCLK I can get the 4 sticks over 2500mhz but the system is unstable after using the BCLK generator. Hope that is re-evaluated in a BIOS/microcode update someday as well due to Asus and Gigabyte seem to get very high adjustments using it.
