..... and substitute your 3200 and 16-18-18-18-36 timings where noted in THAT post.

Also, for this MB/BIOS rev., please post screenies of the complete OC Tweaker page. Top to bottom.

Keep me posted please.

Ahaha sorry, you are so nice ^^ i actually laught a little be hehe
Okay i followed your advise i set from 3200 to 3066 15-17-17-17-35

Okay here im attaching the pictures of OC TWEAKER
picture 1: Observation i had the profile in 3200 i put 3066 (there is not 3000)

Picture 2: here i disable SVT sometimes

Picture 3: By the way in the Advance Tab there are more options of dram-overclocking in case you need that section.

Now im running like you say 3066 15-17-17-35.

Sometimes 2933 works better for stability.
Have you tried that?
Then try to lower latency as much as possible.
Be careful though! If you go too far, the BIOS will set latency itself to make the system stable again. Automatic BIOS settings are very loose, imo.

I've discovered here, and maybe anecdotally with the DDR4 Kits I have at hand here, Ryzen doesn't much care for odd numbers for CAS.

good morning sir Wardog

When you say (How is it during stability testing) you referred to, how feels the pc right now to me? Well this is strange, i mean, I feel the mouse like better, like i'm more attached to the mouse, like i can feel a little be more in game, is like i have Vsync or something at least in counter strike 1.6 is more precise with these settings

But im not sure because, you see, i had the motherboard voltages in that oc tweaker-tab all in (auto) most of them, then i check my manual voltages

I followed their advise: and i put manual the voltages except the VPPm there is not a guide or number to set in manual, so i leave AUTO

Also the VDDP it was 0.945 and i put 1.050, also i realized or notice that

When they were set in manual, lets say the voltage 1.05 Voltage (was set auto) and when i take off the auto, the real number were like 0.800 or 0.900 so... and i set to 1.050 like in the manual says, maybe these things helped me a little be more, also your recommendation to set to 3000mhz?

But yeah i feel more in game, like not floating at, like the mouse is kinda more heavy in game, but more precise, i want to stick to you, monitoring, and learning more with these things of ram, how can i tweak more this memories, now im pretty sure that dram are important when things of imput lag in keyboard or mouse i guess

But the problem of VISUAL lag persist, maybe thats because my gpu, or electricity problems, like i read in some forums, people that has not grounded outlets or Double conversion UPS Online tends to have like visual lag is like you have 100fps in game 60-75 hz but it feels like 40 hertz and 70 fps

Wardog once again, thanks for your time, really appreciate, bro i want to keep here learning with you, and among others, really appreciate, ill be waiting when you are not busy n.n

Ick. Hynix.

Single rank, single sided. But still Hynix

Have you tried bumping SoC just a pinch to 1.1 or 1.175, DRAM Voltage up an additional +0.025 to 1.375, procODT to 53.3, and surely MEM_VTT to 0.690 or maybe even 0.700 yet?

Try those.

FIRST, reset to UEFI Defaults in your BIOS, Save and Exit, then go back straight into the BIOS and set XMP to 3200MHz.

THEN, make those four changes I suggest above. Make sure by looking that XMP sets your 3000 top timings to 15-17-17-17-35 too

Post back the aftereffects of doing so please.

edit: 3000 wardog, not 3200

@Wardog:

Thank you very much for these hints. Now I have my GSkill Trident Z 3200C16 Hynix single rank 2x8Gb working at DDR2666 (DDR2166 before not matter what I do. Two days playing with settings without success until I saw your post in this thread SmileWink)

May be 2966 is doable with some thinkering. Only one time see a POST at that speed though, so may be I have to play with timmings a little more.

DDR3200 it's impossible on my sticks as is right now (X370 Fatality Gaming K4, latest 2.50 UEFI)

Note: In order to POST at 2666, I had to turn on the two latest options below command rate at the memory timmings page, I don't remember the names of these two options right now. Also, I set command rate at 2T, but for some reason its always set at 1T when checked in Windows ?? May be I can reach 2966, or even more, if the UEFI could stick with my 2T setting??

Thank you very much, again, for your guidance.

edit: 3000 wardog, not 3200

I just wanted to post my experience with this. I have the same motherboard and RAM kit. I managed to get my memory stable at 2933MHz by selecting the XMP profile for 2933/3000 MHz and upping the DRAM voltage to 1.375. I also set the procODT to 53.3. I ran memtest for an hour with no errors.

The timings defaulted to what you posted when I selected the XMP profile. I did not edit SoC voltage or MEM_VTT.
