The sure thing is that i am going to be returning this board very soon... i was pretty happy with the board to be honest.

i have the same board and have that update installed, i am going to try uninstalling that update to see if it solves the problem...

by the way, one thing i noticed...in the morning when i first boot the pc it works fine for a long period of time, later when the usb freezes for the first time it continues happening more frequently.

could it be the psu?

still nothing, the usb stopped working again with all the connectors unplugged.

it just happened to me again!! i just unplugued now all the front usb (2.0 and 3.0), i do not know if it is a bad connection that is causing the problem... i am running out of ideas.

maybe the psu is failing or the motherboard is faulty?
