could it be the psu?

That generally feels like a heat problem in an odd way.   Or it is somehow connected to power or heat.  If its temperature related, then it could in fact be the board, possibly a poor solder joint that gets intermittent when it heats up.

The sure thing is that i am going to be returning this board very soon... i was pretty happy with the board to be honest.

It would not hurt to try it, beretta92user, but I doubt it will help.  That is the cumulative update to 248.  Please open a Run dialog or Command Prompt and type winver.  Then tell us what you have.  Is it possible this all started after updating your W10 to 248?  Thanks and enjoy, John.

hi, it shows "version 1709 (os compilation 16299.15)

maybe it started after updating, i do not know for sure. Yesterday i uninstalled that update but i had not much time to try. I am testing now the system, and if it fails again i will return the board.

happened again, even uninstalling that update. The board is on the way to amazon. I exchanged it for a gigabyte ga-ab350m gaming 3 (quite a mouthful). A little bit more expensive but anyway.

Thank you for your help. I will report if it solves the problem.

beretta92user, I think you are correct!  Hopefully AMD/ASRock will release code to make it right soon.  Enjoy your new system.  Enjoy, john.
