I have a X570 Steel Legend with BIOS 1.60 and can't find any way to enable hot swap for SATA drives (using AHCI mode in the BIOS). Anyone know where the option might be found?

I'm not sure, but i remember reading somewhere that the "Hot Plug"/"Swap" option can be found in the options of each listed device, even for M2 drives...

Ah, you already read that here, with ESATA option per device.
In another forum, a user gots a bios variant 1.61 with the global hot plug switch for the X570 Taichi via Asrock support. So maybe a new bios required. BTW, X570 Steel Legend still has not the AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3 ABB update. So i would contact Asrock support. |
