Cleared cmos, updated to 3.50 in the hope of fix a week later and boot hangs as usual. On the upside, my m2 sata is now visible when I can see a boot screen which ain't very often.

I just updated by B450M Pro4 from 3.40 to 3.60 to apply the AMD fix (to the RDRAND instruction probelm which stops Linux booting), and now cannot get into the BIOS menus, screen just goes blank and nothing happens. Not good.

I've just built up a PC with a Taichi x570 & a 3900x and i'm getting 00 on Dr Debug.
I've reseated the CPU and reset the cmos but no change. Is there anything else I could look at? |

Mate, best solution is to return mobo from Asrock and buy from Gygabyte, believe me, I'm sitting here for 1+ month and still have boot issues... |

I had the same thing with my b450ITX/ac Fatality with 3.50 (latest non-Beta for this board). Stripped it down to nothing, and discovered it was the M.2 drive. I lost the M.2 boot from previous BIOS update to support Ryzen 3K, however I could at least still access it from the OS. With the most recent, I physically had to remove it from the system to access the BIOS. (currently booting from SATA). Luckily, I was able to migrate everything over, prior to this "update" so I didn't lose any data. I could access instant flash, and boot order (m.2 drive not listed) at boot. But F2/DEL lead to black screen with frozen old school cursor bar. Hard reset required. |

Hi,
I updated my X470 Mobo from 1.4 to 1.9 then to 3.3 per instructions on Asrock website. Before I update the BIOs I also updated the driver packages as instructed. The update was done with Ryzen 3 1200. Windows 10 was loaded and BIOs updated to 3.3. After I switch to Ryzen 5 3600, the computer will not boot to even BIOs options screen, the power is on and off in a loop every 10 seconds. Please help to resolve this issue. Thanks |

One thing which happens when I get my PC to eventually boot windows 10 64bit is the adrenalin drivers revert back to 19.7.5 from 19.8.1

I have exactly the same problem, not getting into a bios screen will mean a scrap motherboard as you won't be able to refresh to a previous bios. Mine did eventually post to a bios screen which I promptly reflashed to 3.30 so I can either sell it or test it with a earlier ryzen cpu. Removed my m2 sata and tried again - no different. Replaced m2 sata with a formatted one and exactly the same. Boot loops, fans speeding up and down no lights on keyboard or mouse. It will sit like this for hours. Spent all day yesterday trying to sort it and on the point of giving up and sending cpu back for rma. I know the board was fine with a 2200g so I have no logical explanation for the crappy behavior.
. Next step is to try a 200 get in it for testing and to flash my next mobo if I decide to sell. |
