Nice to read it's stable with the 3.60 BIOS. It's ok if it won't go beyond 3200mhz, I am more than fine with the XMP profile locked at 3200mhz. I'm using 16GB Flare X CL14 :D Plus going to 3600mhz will give me 1-2% FPS in games LMAO more like margin of error :D Now I'm reading we should see a newer bios go to all vendors that fix the boost clock issue, looks like Sept 30 it will start rolling out. Now I need to wait again LOL. I'm going to buy the 3700x 1st week in October.

Solved the issue with my 2 bootlooping B450 ITX/AC fatal1ty Asrocks by replacing them with 2 Asus ROG Strix B450-I . The two Ryzen 5 3600 are now working without any issue. Still no contact from support

Works like a charm, at least on stock settings. No problems with XMP @3200, but going beyond that generates system instability.
By the way, does anyone know if it is possible to get one“s hands on a beta BIOS with the new ABBA -agesa, eg. by mailing Asrock support? |

Asrock X370 Professional Gaming
Bios:5.80 Latest CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x Works fine til CPU hits 70c I disabled option in bios still keeps doing it. TJMAX of the cpu is 95c, CPU worked fine on my friends board. Don't recall it ever doing this, idk if this new BIOS is bugged or what... tested the only 2 compatible bios and both did the same thing. |

Hi all can anyone confirm that the x470 taichi with bios 3.60 works with the 3700x with no issues? Including RAM running at 3200mhz with the xmp profile.

It's not just boot looping like before? I have the same board, 3.52 didn't fix anything but AMD has a new bios that supposedly improves clocks, hopefully it fixes my boot looping too. I'm patiently waiting on ASRock to release it. |

Funny enough , Setting the ram to 3200mhz with 1.350v on the DRAM works fine , stable. So its probably the XMP timings that the motherboard doesnt like . I dont notice major performance improvements running heaven benchmark but at least its stable. Will leave it at that.

Using hwinfo since the bios monitor only seems to state the set voltage, and not the measure of actual dram voltage. With XMP (1.35V), voltage range is 1.328V - 1.344V With voltage manually set to 1.36V, voltage range is 1.328V - 1.360V When manually setting the voltage to 1.37V, fluctuates between 1.344V to 1.370V This behavior is not a big issue, since a simple increase in voltage resolves the instability, but for people who're not technically inclined, this would make them believe that their mb or ram is defective.
Looking forward to the ABBA bios update Hoping for some additional frequency boosts since my 3900x only manages 4.25GHz on all cores (single core boost is more respectable at 4.62Ghz) However, not looking forward to the temperature increase it may entail. Already hitting mid 80C with a dual radiator when on 75% cpu load
