I already know that. Hence why I said mine had one letter off listed (k instead of d indicating vengeance instead of the dominator) as in QVL list. I'm hoping future bios updates will ad compatibility like it did before with my x370 taichi board and it does for many motherboards out there.

I also know these are not "ryzen ready". Its because I had them in my old main rig which was an Intel system otherwise I would have bought ram listed on the QVL list. And to your last point no I did not say anything to that effect.

I've now rest Windows in the hope it would cure some of the problems. Sadly it didn't, but instead added more problems to the system.
When booting from cold the Windows stops with the code: THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER. Then Windows restarts and goes to login as nothing happened.
When Windows is started I now got sound-problems as if I didn't have enough problems with this PC. When watching a Youtube-video or playing music with Spotify there's a crackling sound every time the mouse cursor passes a link, also when scrolling the page. I've reinstalled mouse and sound drivers several times but to no avail. It's only noticeable when sound is playing. Going over links in for ex. Explorer does not make the crackling noise.
Another problem is with a new Sandisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 USB-stick. When connecting it to the front-port, next to the Logitech Unifying receiver, the connected mouse/keyboard stops working or works very jerky.
Does anyone have any ideas to solutio9ns to my problems with the Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac?
I'm just about to lose the will to keep this thing around

Try using just one stick of RAM with XMP turned off, see if that sorts out your issues.

X570 get it on 17/9/2019; so it almost month and no hear about new bios files for
older chipsets?

Other companies were implement ABBA to their products; only asrock don t update bios files to newest version.

From what I can gather (both past experience and ASRocks priorities) the Taichi Ultimate will be lucky to get another BIOS update before December so I wouldn't hold your breath for it, I understand them wanting to wait but it'd be nice if they communicated that to people instead of leaving their customers to scour forums and send in support tickets.

At this point I'm really tempted to jump ship to another vendor, while I understand this board never sold in huge quantities I feel as though ASRock don't seem to care that much about the people that bought their flagship X470 board.

I really hope they do a better job supporting the X570 Aqua.

When I was changing motherboard for ryzen I was convinced that x470 taichi ultimate will be motherboard with great support.

I am disappointed in the company's attitude.

Ok one more question before I buy my 3700x. I'm using an x470 Taichi with a 2700x BIOS 3.40. When I buy my 3700x all I have to do is, before upgrading set 3.40 bios to default settings, save and shut down. Then after installing my 3700x, upgrade to BIOS 3.60 and set my Flare X memory back to my 3200mhz XMP setting and tweak whatever I had set before. I am not overclocking, I just want the PC to boot after I do all these steps with no issues at all. Oh and install the latest AMD chipset driver for Ryzen 3000.

Thanks

any parts swap should be done with reset bios not just default settings because that will be default for the current installed parts.

btw what are you hoping to gain with 3700x over 2700x
