Thanks all. I managed to get the M.2 SSD detected after reformatting it several times. System seems stable now.

On a side note, I've contacted AsRock support about the first issue on 25th of October and still have not received any response from them. Not the fastest response time now. Had to crawl all the internet looking for solutions.

Thanks again

Thanks again

And how could you reformat it when it is not recognised?
In another machine or what?

The stable version will be available when it's done.
Already discussed and explained here some days ago: Asrock skips this unrequired, political focused 1.0.0.3ABBA

Clearify with your dealer, that the mainboard comes with the correct bios!
If that is not possible, choose another one.
It is anyway the best to get such hardware in a local store with a service for checking/updating the bios.

Best buy (just regarding price) is not always the best case!

It has been 3 months(!!) since the last Bios update for the B450 ITX... while there are many known issues. Meanwhile other manufacturers have released Agesa 1.0.0.4 already.

Wtf Asrock?

Check it with dealer, mate. Dealer can have a service for updating of BIOS.

I was lucky to have old SATA HDD which I installed Windows to and then formatted M.2 SSD using Disk Management.

Since then my M.2 SSD still gets intermittently unrecognised in BIOS but usually loads Windows fine. I bet all these issues are ASRock BIOS related.

Still haven't heard from their support. 11 days waiting now. And still no official BIOS release. Forcing customers to look for beta BIOS updates on their own. Useless bunch.

there are still no BIOS updates, although other manufacturers have already released updates on 1.0.0.4. ASRock just doesn?™t give a sh*t about consumers, both technical support and software employees. useless pieces of idiots
