Hello,

i'm planning on building a small AMD ITX build.
I will use an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with an Asrock A520M-ITX board.

Now i'm looking for the best air cooler solution.
The ID-Cooling IS-60 seems to be a good choice but i can't find anything to verify that it will fit on the board without interfering with the RAM (which will probably be two hyperX Fury 4GB dimms).

Anyone knows if it will fit or has any other suggestions?

I take it that HyperX Fury ram is low enough profile, and are not those crazy high RGB sticks?
Those should fit under any available heatsink.
I would suggest checking out Noctua range. They have some low profile coolers, like NH-L12 or L9 series. Those look like they should clear RAM easily

Oh, I just watched a video on ID-cooling website, and it seems that heatsink will be nowhere near RAMs, however they were fitting it on full ATX board

This rig will be used with a constant (high) load, so i prefer cooling over noise.

I saw this video where some low profile coolers were tested and the IS-60 performed best in cooling AND noise (even beat the noctua)

The guy also mentioned that he scratched his very low profile RAM in a board with 22mm clearance between socket and RAM while fitting it perfectly in a 24mm MoBo (Timestamp 17:10).
Are there some measurements of this MoBo available? Couldn't find any.

Here is the dimensions of mini ITX form factor:
Mini-ITX Form Factor: 6.7-in x 6.7-in, 17.0 cm x 17.0 cm

The reason I'm mentioning Noctua, because they are more widely used, and you have more chance to find info about their cooling solutions.
Up until today I never heard of ID-Cooling.

For example: Look at this product (you don't need to necessarily buy this particular one):
https://noctua.at/en/nh-l12s
Look how many installation and review videos they have posted there. One of them is bound to have info about RAM clearance :)
Compare that with what ID-Cooling gives you for info, it's day and night :)

I should have mentioned that i'm leaning towards the Silverstone ML08B case which has a cooler clearance of 58mm

Everything else from Noctua like the L12s is too tall.
They are more well known and i like Noctua, but that doesn't mean it's the best solution :D

As I mentioned, I chose them because their information is readily available :)
After decades of Noctua usage only last week I migrated to Arctic Liquid Freezer.

Ok, I just looked at ID cooling solution in more detail, and one of the photos shows it installed on mini ITX board, and it shows that it does not go above memory, but next to it:
http://www.idcooling.com/Product/detail/id/19/name/IS-60
Scroll down when you see series of photos, one of them is from the top next to the RAM. So I think we are worrying too much about this. IS-60 is 55mm tall

Thanks for checking the ID-Cooling page. Didn't saw the picture with the board the first time. Looks good tho.

I guess this cooler is it then :)
