the way motherboard manufacturers qualify RAM to work is not what normal user would call normal usage. You can play lottery with 16GB of total RAM, or 32GB, but when it comes to 128GB of RAM, you just going to be wasting money and time. They also have 4600MHz RAM qualified, yet no one in real life has it running at those speeds. Also, even if someone else with your board tried and succeeded running 3600Mhz multi DIMM set up, it does not mean you will achieve the same thing. |

I dont think thats completly true, because in the motheboards QVL memory list, you have Teamforce memory Listed at 3600. 16Gbsticks and they work in 2/4/8 slots ..so 3200 its not the limit... Im wondering if anyone tested fast memories...

Take 3200Mhz as maximum. Buying faster speed RAM in these capacities to just not be able to use these speeds is extremely pointless :) forget about 4000mhz or 3800mhz. That is not gonna happen

Hello I have a 3970 treadripper with a Msi Rex 3090gaming trio, I currently have 64gb trident skill f4 3200 memory, 8x8gb sticks, I wanted to upgrade to 128gb for 3d and video editing, wants the best memory with the highest speed that I can update, is it possible to put 8x16 at 4000mhz or at 3800mhz or even 4x32gb sticks, in asrock site the maximum speed is 3600 from team data but I think that list is outdated because on the same site doesn?™t says nothing about compatibility with m2 samsung 980 pro and I have one...so my question is.. what?™s the maximum speed I can use with a 128gb setup... thanks
