I'm trying to get into legacy boot and enter the bios of the LSI 9702 itself.
I know with certain boards like the x399 taichi the card and any SAS drives connected show up directly in UEFI but I'm not seeing this in the b450m. I've tried changing the CSM policy for PXE and Storage but just get stuck with a blinking cursor. I tried booting with install media as well but not luck. Is this even possible with this mobo? If not are there any m-atx alternatives where UEFI plays nicer with HBAs? The card itself is showing up fine in Ubuntu ``` Serial Attached SCSI controller: Broadcom / LSI SAS2308 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 (rev 05) LnkCap: Port #0, Speed 8GT/s, Width x8, ASPM L0s, Exit Latency L0s <64ns ClockPM- Surprise- LLActRep- BwNot- ASPMOptComp+ LnkSta: Speed 8GT/s (ok), Width x8 (ok) TrErr- Train- SlotClk+ DLActive- BWMgmt- ABWMgmt- ``` |
